First-person 3D horror maze prototype

Horror Maze

Horror Maze is a free browser prototype where players enter five fixed 3D maze levels, steal a glowing yellow rhombus, hide from sinister enemies, and bring the artifact back to the start zone alive.

Prototype survival profile

Horror Maze is an active playable prototype in the Gona.games survival arena. Players test the fear, stealth, navigation, and enemy systems, then vote whether this first-person horror idea deserves to evolve.

Core objective

Each level has a handcrafted maze. Find the yellow rhombus, pick it up, and return to the glowing start zone. The rhombus makes the enemies more aggressive, so the return path is the real test.

Enemies

Runner enemies patrol corridors, scream when they see the player, and kill on contact. Shooter enemies guard sightlines, telegraph their shot, and fire slow projectiles that can be dodged or blocked by walls.

Hiding and minimap

Canisters and bushes let players hide and break enemy aggro. The minimap shows the maze layout, player direction, and hiding spots, but it never reveals enemies or the rhombus.

Controls

PC: WASD to move, mouse to look, Shift to sprint, E to interact or hide, R to restart after death. Mobile: left side joystick movement, right side drag camera, Sprint and Interact buttons.
